Oasis – a green spot in a desert; something that provides relief or contrast; a pleasant place or situation in the midst of difficulty. Our name defines our nature, our vision, our mission – to provide educational support through after-school care to the scholastically challenged primary and secondary school-aged children in the Tawes Meadows community of Spanish Town, Jamaica.

The Foundation’s long-term goal is to improve literacy, comprehension, retention, matriculation and graduation at all levels from basic school through high school, thus transforming a neglected and underserved community to one in which all its citizens will have the opportunity to achieve.
